In ancient times, ceremonies and gatherings of merriment and feasting were held to encourage the return of the Sun and to honor Bridget who carries the unborn Sun Star. It was believed that through the calling of the elements and the lighting of the Yule one could coax the return of spring.

The White Goddess descends from the stars to bring blessings and insights for the coming year. Father Time and the Winter Queen Faerie introduce the Child of Light to his destiny.
